Everything you need to plan your trip to Tarragona, Reus, and Mas del Sord for the wedding weekend.
Wedding locations
Wedding-day transportation: We're planning a pickup point in Reus or Tarragona to bring guests to the venue. Details are still being finalized, and we'll update this page once they're set.
Recommended route: Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to Barcelona-El Prat (BCN).
The easiest option is a nonstop flight when available. United and American commonly operate nonstop ORD → BCN service, but 2027 schedules will need to be checked closer to the wedding date.
Timing tip: Plan to arrive in Barcelona at least one day before heading toward Tarragona/Reus so you are not rushed.

For Polish guests, start by checking nonstop flights from Kraków to Barcelona. Ryanair, Wizz Air, and LOT are good airlines to compare when schedules open.
For guests flying from Poland: check direct KRK → BCN flights first and book early if the dates work.
Search KRK → BCN flightsA US passport is all you need to enter Spain for a stay under 90 days; no visa is required. Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months after you leave Spain (the State Department recommends 6 months). You may be asked for a photo and fingerprints at the border. The EU's ETIAS travel authorization is planned to start between late 2026 and 2027, and the exact date isn't set, so check the official site closer to your trip.
As an EU citizen you can enter Spain for up to 90 days without a visa. A valid passport or national ID card (dowód osobisty) is enough, and you will need it for your flight too. It's also worth bringing your EKUZ card, which covers basic care at public clinics (not private ones).
From Barcelona Airport, we recommend taking the C-32 coastal highway south toward Tarragona and València. It's the easier, more direct route and a bit quicker than the alternative. Without traffic, the Tarragona and Reus area is about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1.5 hours away, so it's an easy first stop wherever you are staying.
Tolls: Some roads and tunnels in Spain charge tolls, and the rules can change. The C-32 does have a toll through the Garraf tunnels (around €8), but we still recommend it as the easier route. The AP-7 is currently toll-free if you would rather not pay, but it is a little longer, and tolls on it could return. Check your route before you go and keep a credit card handy for toll booths.
Heading to La Selva del Camp or Mas del Sord? From Reus, follow the signs for La Selva del Camp (about 15 minutes more). The last part of the drive to Mas del Sord is on smaller country roads, so save the address in Google Maps, which also shows which routes have tolls and lets you avoid them.
Tarragona is a coastal city with a Roman old town, beaches, a lively seafront promenade, and plenty of restaurants. It's a great base if you want a real city feel with sea views.
Best for: guests staying in Tarragona or making a beach / old town trip out of the weekend.
Reus is inland from Tarragona and closer to Mas del Sord. It is a practical base for guests who want easier access to the venue but still want hotels, shops, and restaurants nearby.
Best for: guests renting a car and staying closer to the wedding area.
Mas del Sord is in the countryside near La Selva del Camp. Driving or arranging a taxi/private transfer is the easiest way to get there, especially at night after wedding events.

The venue has plenty of parking on site, so you can drive straight to the celebration.
For the ceremony, use the public car park in La Selva del Camp, about a 5-minute walk from Sant Andreu. Plan to park there and walk over.
Open in Google MapsThe Plaça Prim car park is in the heart of Reus, close to the main shopping streets and restaurants. It's open 24 hours, so you can also leave your car overnight (about €5 for 24 hours at last report; prices can change). It has about 330 spaces. The height limit is about 2 m, so check this if you're renting a tall vehicle.
Open in Google MapsA good choice for a day in the city: Aparcament Torroja is right by the old town (Part Alta), behind the cathedral, with entrances on Passeig Torroja and Carrer Johann Sebastian Bach. It was about €1 per 12 hours for visitors at last report (prices can change). It's meant for daytime visits; if you need to leave your car overnight, use the Rambla Nova car park below. The old town's streets are narrow, so it's easier to park at its edge and walk.
Open in Google MapsIf you need to leave your car overnight in Tarragona, the underground car park next to Rambla Nova (Carrer de Fortuny, 25) is open 24 hours. It's a few minutes' walk from the old town and under 15 minutes from the train station. The height limit is about 2.1 m.
Open in Google MapsBarcelona-El Prat Airport usually has the most car rental options and is the simplest pickup spot if you are flying into Barcelona and heading south toward Tarragona/Reus.
Reus Airport is closest to the wedding area if flights work for you. Reus and Tarragona city locations may also be useful if you only want a car for part of the trip.
Compare Europcar, Enterprise, Sixt, Hertz, Avis, Budget, and OK Mobility. Also check comparison sites like Rentalcars or Auto Europe.
Tip: Reserve automatic transmission early if you need it, since manual cars are common in Spain.
Search rental carsUS guests should get an International Driving Permit (IDP) before arriving; the US State Department says it is required to drive in Spain (in the US they are issued through AAA, for example). Drivers with an EU license, including a Polish one, can use their regular license.
After landing, take the train from Terminal 2 to Barcelona-Sants (about 25 minutes, roughly every 30 minutes). At Sants, catch a Renfe train toward Tarragona (frequent, about 1 to 1.5 hours). Get off at Tarragona station in the city, not Camp de Tarragona, which is the high-speed stop outside town.
Take the same airport train to Barcelona-Sants, then board a Renfe regional train toward Reus (about hourly, around 1.5 hours). Reus station is in the city, a short taxi ride from most hotels.
There is no train station at the venue. The closest stations are in Reus, about 15 to 20 minutes away by car, so plan on a taxi, rental car, or arranged transfer for the final stretch. Book your ride back in advance, since taxis can be hard to find in the countryside at night.
A few direct buses a day (Empresa Plana) run from Barcelona Airport Terminal 2B to Tarragona, taking about 1 hour 20 minutes. Departures are limited, so check the timetable before booking flights; the train has many more departures.
Buses between Barcelona and Reus are slow (around 3 hours) and run only a few times a day, so we recommend the train for Reus. If you do take the bus, check the schedule close to the wedding weekend.
Bus is not the best door-to-door option for the venue. Use the train or bus to reach Tarragona or Reus, then plan a taxi or rental car for the final ride to Mas del Sord.
La Selva del Camp, the town where the ceremony takes place, has a hotel you can stay at: Crisol La Selva. Mas del Sord is out in the countryside, so plan on a car or taxi for getting around, especially at night.
Reus is a strong choice if you want to be closer to Mas del Sord while still having restaurants, cafés, and hotel options. Look near the city center for easier taxis and walking.
Tarragona is great for guests who want the old town, sea views, Roman history, and more sightseeing before or after the wedding.
Search Reus city center, Tarragona Old Town, Tarragona marina/beach area, La Selva del Camp, or Alcover. If you book rural Airbnb stays, renting a car is strongly recommended.
