Flights to BarcelonaRecommended airport and flight notes for Chicago and Kraków guests
From Chicago
Recommended route: Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to Barcelona-El Prat (BCN).
The easiest option is a nonstop flight when available. United and American commonly operate nonstop ORD → BCN service, but 2027 schedules will need to be checked closer to the wedding date.
Timing tip: Plan to arrive in Barcelona at least one day before heading toward Tarragona/Reus so you are not rushed.
Recommended route: Kraków John Paul II Airport (KRK) to Barcelona-El Prat (BCN).
For Polish guests, start by checking nonstop flights from Kraków to Barcelona. Ryanair, Wizz Air, and LOT are good airlines to compare when schedules open.
For guests flying from Poland: check direct KRK → BCN flights first and book early if the dates work.
Getting around by carBest option for the venue, countryside, and flexible timing
To Tarragona
From Barcelona Airport, drive southwest toward Tarragona using the AP-7 / C-32 routes depending on traffic. Tarragona is a great base if you want restaurants, sea views, and a city feel.
Best for: guests staying in Tarragona or making a beach / old town trip out of the weekend.
To Reus
Reus is inland from Tarragona and closer to Mas del Sord. It is a practical base for guests who want easier access to the venue but still want hotels, shops, and restaurants nearby.
Best for: guests renting a car and staying closer to the wedding area.
To Mas del Sord
Mas del Sord is in the countryside near La Selva del Camp. Driving or arranging a taxi/private transfer is the easiest way to get there, especially at night after wedding events.
Tip: Save the venue address in Google Maps before you leave: Mas d'el Sord, 1, 43479 La Selva del Camp, Tarragona.
Getting around by trainGood for Tarragona/Reus, but the venue still needs a taxi or ride
To Tarragona
From Barcelona Airport, get to Barcelona-Sants station, then take a Renfe regional or long-distance train toward Tarragona. Tarragona is one of the easiest nearby cities to reach without a car.
To Reus
Take the train from Barcelona-Sants toward Reus. This is a good option if your hotel is in Reus and you plan to use taxis for the venue.
To Mas del Sord
The closest train area is La Selva del Camp, but the venue is not comfortably walkable with luggage or formal clothing. Plan on a taxi, rental car, or arranged transfer for the final stretch.
Getting around by busBudget-friendly, but less convenient for the venue itself
To Tarragona
There are bus options from Barcelona Airport / Barcelona city toward Tarragona. This can work well if you are staying in central Tarragona and do not plan to drive.
To Reus
Bus routes can connect Barcelona, Tarragona, and Reus, but they may require schedule planning and transfers. Check routes close to the wedding weekend.
To Mas del Sord
Bus is not the best door-to-door option for the venue. Use the bus for getting to Tarragona/Reus, then plan a taxi or rental car for the final ride to Mas del Sord.
